2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, profile image (including from Google or other sign-in providers), password credentials when you use email sign-up, and authentication metadata.
  • Organization information: organization names, membership, roles, invitations, and related workspace settings.
  • Service content: competitor websites you add, monitored page data, scan history, website change evidence, notification preferences, activity feedback, and related product configuration.
  • Integration data: information needed to connect third-party services you enable, such as Slack workspace/channel delivery settings.
  • Usage and device data: log data, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and product interaction events used for security, reliability, and product improvement.
  • Communications: messages you send us for support or product questions.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Rivalise service
  • Authenticate users, manage organizations, and enforce access controls
  • Crawl and monitor public competitor pages you configure, detect changes, and generate activity summaries and analytics
  • Deliver notifications and optional integration messages (for example, Slack alerts)
  • Provide AI-assisted analysis and answers based on your organization's monitoring evidence
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
  • Protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Public website monitoring

Rivalise is designed to monitor publicly accessible competitor websites that you choose to track. When you add a competitor URL, we may retrieve public page content, store snapshots, compute differences, and generate summaries for your organization.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Rivalise to monitor websites complies with applicable laws, website terms, and your own internal policies. Do not use Rivalise to access private, authenticated, or otherwise non-public systems without authorization.

5. AI processing

Some features use third-party AI providers to analyze website changes, generate activity briefs, digests, or assistant responses. Those providers process content only as needed to provide the requested feature. Observed website facts and AI interpretations may be stored separately in your workspace so your team can review evidence.

6. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us host, authenticate, process, analyze, or deliver the product (for example infrastructure, authentication, AI, analytics, and messaging providers)
  • Integration partners when you connect a third-party service and instruct us to send data there
  • Organization members within the workspace you join or manage, according to role permissions
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, preferences, security, and product analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if essential cookies are disabled.

8. Data retention

We retain account, organization, monitoring, and related service data for as long as needed to provide the product, maintain security and backup integrity, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When you delete competitors, organizations, or your account, we remove or de-identify associated data according to our operational deletion processes, subject to residual backup retention.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update some account details in product settings, and you can contact us at mehdikhoudalpro@gmail.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Children

Rivalise is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
